I won this beautiful new Janome, a Jem Gold 2. It doesn't look like it does much but zig zag and go straight, but it is light weight and perfect for going to classes. I will be spending some time today trying it out. hehehehe
I have a Janome Jem Gold, recently purchased on eBay, and I love it! My husband's laptop weighs more than this machine. Congratulations!!

I have one, and I love it. It is so lightweight. It doesn't have fancy stitches, but it will get the job done. I am looking at the Jem Platinum. It is computerized, has more stitches, has the needle up and down, but it is still lightweight enough to carry to retreats or classes.
