I didn't get much done last year with our moving and my FILs death. BUT, I forgot to mention the few that are in my webshots album! :D The two page spread from Switzerland is one I did for my dad in Ohio. We are Polish on my dad's side and while we were in Zurich we took a boat ride to the other side of the lake and found a POLISH CASTLE! I had to do a page (or two) for him to see the caslte. It was great! I'm so glad we didn't make plans while going to Zurich or else we might have missed out on a beautiful day on the lake and the castle. Now the love parade... I can't post my two or three pics from that LOL Let's say fishnet really does come in MANY colors. And Dennis Rodman looks much better in stilletos than the guy who looked like him at the Love Parade LOL

Susan, I like your Switzerland LO's. Great pics of the sights! What was the Love Parade?! Dennis Rodman is such a freak, I can't imagine someone dressing like him..LOL I wish I could see those pictures,,,they sound interesing!

As to the love parade...

it was like a freak parade. Techno music and drinking and partying and probably some illegal substances. We should have known we were in for a "treat" when some folks with dyed hair and interesting clothes got on one of the boat's stops. We should have gotten off a stop or two earlier. We were walking back towards the bus/train stops and walked on bottles of varieties of drinks and potions that in spots were 3-5" deep. I'm so so sooooooooo glad we walked along the shore in the morning because by the time we returned, it was a zoo. DHs quote of the day "We came to Europe to experience it... we sure did today." LOL The Stars & Stripes did an article about it that week after our return. We had NO clue that weekend was going to be awild one... well, for those who went for it LOL We went to celebrate our 14th anniversary late. (DH was in the field when it came and went) We have something about water and our annys.... our first was a riverboat dinner cruise in Sacramento, our 10th a cruise in the Carribean and last year, the lake at Zuirch LOL This year it'll be another one likely alone depending on his dates.. our third in a row. :( Susan
