All done with Expo

Took 2 classes today with my SIL and did some shopping. Yes, I spent money today. I think total $50 and I was feeling lucky to end there. BUT yes you all knew there was a but... I got intrigue with something called the Scraprack. Does anyone have this? The idea of organizing all my scrapping stuff into a binder like thing that could fit under the bed in one of those rolling under the bed containers really sounded good. Not that I can't spread out in a few months, but I would like to use my new room for things other than just scrapbooking. ...holding up trash can to deflect beaded sandal... :)

They talked about organizing all scrapping embellishments and paper in one binder. I can't tell you how many times I've finished a page only to find a month later some stickers or eyelets I had bought specifically for that page only they were filed away neatly some where I didn't remember. I have my paper filed away in one holder. I've got my eyelets stored away neatly in there can. I have my stickers filed neatly in their accordian file. I have my diecuts neatly sorted in manila folders. I never get everything together at once.

I'm just curious if this thing would really work or if it would be just a pain.

PS my brother and SIL were very generous this year and gave me a gift certificate to my LSS. My parents were very generous too and gave me a gift certificate to Borders books. Now to decide just what Scrapping stuff I want!

I'm glad you had a good time Lynne. I can't help you with the Scraprack. I've never heard of it, either.

Lynne - I have the Scrap Rack and LOVE IT!!!! I use it for all embellishments, scrap paper larger than 4x4, stickers, letters, sayings and fiber.

It will hold 12x12 paper but I chose not to use the rack as I prefer my rolling cart and my wire cubes for paper. I have one section for letters & sayings, 2nd section is the alphabetical section Animals, Baby, Boys, Boards, Sports & Travel, etc

3rd section "Season/Holiday, Events, 4th section punches, embellishments, of all types, 5th section scrap paper divided by color and the 6th section is fibers.

I do recommend getting 2" x 3 3/4" zip lock bags if you use for small items, like tiny maple leaf punches, eyelets. I have gone back and ordered more pages - I did not buy the travel pack - as I do not attend crops.

Hope this helps.
