Baby Album Page Ideas?

May 10, 2006 24 Replies

One of the pages that I did and that was a big hit was Mommy's first letter to Rachel and Dadd's first letter to Rachel.

I stopped a long time ago trying to get things perfect. It is more interesting and personal when it isn't. Perfection used to stress me out big time. Then I suddenly realized that even the things I thought were perfect weren't. After that it was so important.

Just cut it out the best you can. Imperfection is character and in the case of crafts love.

I included three pages in the front of the book I gave my DD at her baby shower for pregnancy (3 trimesters); an advice page where there were little notes written by friends and family tucked into little tee shirt pockets; Karen did one with a page of the baby's firsts which I scraplifted for DD's album; an on the day you were born - headlines, song, price of gas, milk, etc.

Good point! I sometimes can get carried away with trying to get projects to look their best. I am getting better about it though...

Tammy, it is a hard thing to get pass. Almost like an addiction. Just when you think you have it your fall off the Silent Setter. :)
