Boy thing change fast!

Last time I wrote the sun was shining and all was right with the world. Today it is dull, grey and cool out and WE HAVE WATER IN OUR BASEMENT!!!! I'm not happy at all!! We had our contractor over and deduced it was a landscaping problem as the deck slants slightly towards the house instead of away from it so all the meltins snow and rain we have is puddleing against the side of the house! We need to replace our deck and built up the gravel against one side of the house! Anyone have a few extra grand laying around that they can part with-we DON'T!!! So my sunny happy dance day is now a gray sit and stress one! Barb:o(

You have my sympathies. I've had 7 or 8 leaks into my condo (most of them bad enough to call the disaster recovery type people to rip up carpet & bring in industrial dryers) in the 9 years I've lived here. My old supervisor used to call me the "poster child for why not to buy" (she'd always rented).

Hope all's dry soon, & costs less than you think it will!
