Chico CA

Do any of you know if there is a LSS in or near Chico? I am thinking of going up for a visit with my mom and dad after my daughter leaves for Germany, and I'd like to maybe take a little class or something while I am there. star2fire

Chico is a big town as you already know I'm sure. I'm 2 hours away. Have your mom or dad look up scrapbooking in the phone book. There's got to be a couple up there.

According to the website, they don't seem to be open yet, but this looks like it is, or will be, a fantastic place. Can you tell me any more about it? Are you local? star2fire

Thanks, Patty. I called Craft Warehouse and they have a corporate site but the Chico store isn't on it. I called Magic Moments and Keepsakes but I got the machine. I'll try back tomorrow. I called Scrapbook Ave but there was no answer but I emailed them. It looks like they might be brand new or something. I am starting to think this is going to be a fun adventure for me. I will probably take Amtrak, since I don't fly very well. If I find out who is having some great classes I will try to get my mom to go with me to at least one. I think she would love it. star2fire

Sorry, I just realized that you already said you were two hours away. But thanks for the information. This sounds like a great place. star2fire

Didn't you say you live near San Diego? If so Amtrak will be nice. The Coast Starlight from SD to San Luis Obispo is awesome. Business class is the best way to go. I've never been on it north of SLO but hopefully you will not have too many transfers.
