Fiskars Eyelet setter

I have used them before and they are quite helpful but they do make a lot of noise with the "snapping". I have found that the Silent Setter is the best setter out there. AC Moore happens to have it on sale for $9.99 which it is usually $18.99. I HIGHLY recommend it. It works great!

Thanks for your help Sandy. You persuaded me :) I decided to buy the Silent Setter. I found it for only 17,99 Euro. I also just found out that I have a new job. I think this are two good reasons! And it is cerainly a good price for Germany.

Last night as I finished my October card challenge I thought I really need to rethink my eyelet set up. The tools I have work great and I don't need anything new, BUT I don't know how many times I'm setting eyelets at night when someone in the house is sleeping. There is something about hitting a metal hammer on a metal setter that just sends a whacking sound through the house straight into the ear of the sleeping person. SOOO, I thought I might have to look into the silent setter. A friend of mine has one and I thought it worked fine just didn't see the need for one at the time.

Thanks Kenda. I will be working as a cashier in a supermarket. It's a part time job. I'm still a student but I need money and it was really time for a new job because all my savings are gone now :)

The silent setter will be here monday or tuesday. I ordered it online. I can't wait to get it...

I got my Silent Setter yesterday. It wasn't quite as spectacular as I had expected for this amount of money. But it works great and this is certainly the most importent thing. I used it on a page last night. I'll post it later. And - as the name says - it doens't make any noise.
