Found a new scrap friend

Sounds good to me! I'm still hoping that we can do something for my birthday (scrap related). There's a class from 11:00-1:00 at the Sunflower Scrapbooks in Gainesville that day. I think it's Mini Scrapbooks. Maybe we could do that or you could just come over and I'll shoo DH and DD off so we can have the dining room table all to ourselves!!! We'll have to confirm as it gets closer.

Our weather took a turn for the worse today! It started to rain in the afternoon and the temperature dropped. Tonight was pretty cold - probably not cold for some of you Yankee's (and I say that lovingly since my hubby is one:)

Cold in Central FL- Yes Shelley - It dropped to 36 deg. F - and lows tonight between 29-32 deg. F --- burr -- that's cold even for me a former northern now with FL thinned out blood - who also hates snow - thank heavens that hasn't happened in this area in 40 + yrs the locals tell me -

It is supposed to freeze tonight. Oh and by the way those of you in the north can keep the snow. Been there done that. I am what they call a damn yankee. I moved here to the south and never went back. My parents are actually the damn Yankees. My son and I are the most southern people in our family. I have lived in FL since I was 4, but returned to Pittsburgh every year for Christmas.

Uh Maureen, it happened like 10 years ago in JAX, and about 13 in Clearwater. In JAX we were actually able to build snowmen in the front yard.

Yes! But do you have a season full of snowmen, night time winter snow scenes, sledding, snow forts pictures to scrap? LOL I have been in florida in January and march and it is cold. I wore my winter coat in Disney world in January 3 years ago! Now I make it a point never to go to Florida before April.

I was wondering who you were talking to Mel - hee hee - I thought you were talking about Shelley and her snow. Anyway, I blocked all these annoying posters who won't stop and I will continue to - now I don't see their messages and some of our member's replies don't make a lot of sense but that's ok.
