Geneva Barn here I come

This thread is too funny! I guess we are figuring out who should share with whom in a rather humerous way, LOL! I think I'll make signs for the doors to the rooms. Let me see:

The question is, between the CPAPs and the Snorers who sleeps next door to the Lights?

We need ideas for funny door signs!

I'm a snorer also. DH has gone so far as to look for an empty bed elsewhere at times...... Sandy

LOL DH's uncle has to go to bed way earlier than his wife because she snores so loud. DH snores, too...only he starts out soft, but gets louder. If I'm already asleep, it doesn't bother me. But oh good grief if I wake up and he's snoring! LOL

I'm the same way. If I can get to sleep before someone starts snoring... for some reason I can ignore it. Once the person starts snoring it takes me a long time to go to sleep. DH does snore about 75% of the time. Occasionally, he'll wake me up with really loud snoring and I'll wake him up. Hey I figure if I have to be a wake then so does he. Although while he's trying to figure out why I woke him up I quickly go back to sleep. hehehehe

If DS crawls in bed with me he just nudges me and says 'stop it mom' and I roll over on my side. It helps. Sandy

I can't wait to see ya there Lynne! It's great that you're getting to go. I still haven't made up my mind if it's going to be Thurs thru Mon or Fri thru Mon for me.

LOL Can you imagine the noise if we have a room full of snorers!?! Do you think the ground would shake? I'll have to pass on bunking in that room, even though I am a pretty heavy sleeper.

As for me, I have to have a fan at night. I run it 365 nights a year. I need air circulating. I manage w/out it though when I'm traveling. So don't be looking for me to carry a fan in w/ my luggage.

I'd go for the CPAPs next to the light sleepers as the machines couldn't be heard through walls/doors

DH sleeps with a fan year-round, too. I'm glad we have a ceiling fan though. I'm usually colder than DH is, which used to complicate things. Other places we've lived, we didn't have a ceiling fan in our room, so he would have a box-type fan blowing year-round. It would be the middle of the summer, and I would be under 2 blankets! LOL

cpapers are quieter than snorers because most snorers have sleep apnea and just never got to the doctor... I used to snore like a train, now I'm perfectly quiet.... cept that machine.. LOL
