MARCH CHALLENGE - Stick it to the Sketch!!! What do Betty Higgins and Eyelets and/or Brads have in common? If you take up the RCS March Challenge, a whole lot! Frankly, while she may protest, it's all my NSSSF Barb's fault that I'm including eyelts/brads in the March challenge! She and I put together a brad/eyelet order of magnificent proportions on Tuesday while talking on the phone. I did the keyboard thing part of the ordering as we talked and I got the order in today! Then again I guess our "bluejean" girl should share the blame for this month's challenge, since her posting about the Betty Higgins sketches got all of us going. For the fun of it, I've picked the sketch so it will be more fun for us to see the various interpretations of the same sketch. I've chosen #6 which is a 5 picture layout (yes the challenge is two pages), and #43 also a 5 photo, two page layout if you are doing an 8.5x11. You do not have to use 5 pictures, but you do have to be faithful to the sketch, while using as many eyelets and/or brads as you can. I'll post the two sketches on the website when I get a chance under March Challenge
APRIL CHALLENGE - Think Inside the Box!!! I don't normally announce a challenge a month or more ahead of time. But since this one requires that you use either an Altoid rectangular or a Velamint tin, I thought I'd give you time to find one, buy one, eat the contents and then get to the challenge. Your challenge consists of embelishing the outside of the tin and then creating a little album with at least 5 little pages to go inside the tin. I love pictures and words, so there should be pictures and words. Even if you are one of those quick bunnies who gets the challenge done by the end of this weekend, you may not post your tin/album to the newgroup until April. If you can't get an altoids or a Velamint tin, please let us know on the newgroup and I'll see if we can help out.
Happy Scrapping!
