Deb's March Challenge...DONE!

I know, you're all in shock. My challenge is done and it's before the 15th! Mark it on the calendar and celebrate, because it may not happen again. :-)

This is my first time using any sketch at all, and it really was easier than I thought it would be. It's in the RCS Challenges album. There's 47 brads between the two pages! Considering it was late at night, I didn't think pounding 30+ eyelets would have been a good idea. LOL Take a peek and let me know what you think!

Well Deb...that is just beautiful! I love your choice of colours. and that little graduate embellishment is just adorable :o) Love your butterfly tags??? Are they vellum with a sticker applied. I have vellum tags but have only stroked them so far...LOL Also love the little metal "friends" tags. Great job!!!

Boy were you up late. Your pages look great. I love the colors. I also love precious moments. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Marilyn! The school colors were actually blue and gold, but those colors just didn't look good with the pics. The graduates are actually "Precious Moments" stickers that Dave brought me. The butterflies came from the same sticker sheet and I simply put them onto white circle metal edge tags.

LOL Thanks Shannon. Yep, I was a late-night scrapper last night, which I'm usually not. I have to give Dave credit for bringing me the Precious Moments. Thanks Dave!

Deb, that looks awesome! Your LO came out great :) Elizabeth is a gorgeous little girl. Daddy better start getting the shotgun ready! The colours you used, compliment each other beautifully, perfect shades. Well done!

Thanks Judy! Actually, we don't have to worry about the shotgun. DH has a blackbelt in Taekwondo, and DD just started Taekwondo this week. Plus, we have DS Jordan. He may only be 3 (almost 4), but he's built like a brick wall and charges head first! LOL

What you didn't want to sound like the little shoe makers last night?! haha That turned out really nice Deb. When you said there was 47 brads I wasn't sure what it was going to look like (braille came to mind), but they are an enhancement rather a distraction. I've been afraid to use to many eyelet etc., but all you ladies are encouraging me. The page turned out wonderfully Deb.

LO looks great - love the dog tags - did you buy them with the letters on them? Or do it yourself? I bought some blank tags from ebay. they came in this weekend while I was at the CK convention. Bought lots of stuff there and came home to find more waiting for me. Our school does not do K graduation. They just send the diploma home on the last day of school. Sandy

I love the layout Deb! I think this month's challenge is making us look at some things differently. Like you I had never used a sketch before! I think /i will do so again as it was much more of a creative project than I thought it might be. So far I think you have the most brads/eyelets used!

Thanks Kenda! Sorry for the late reply. I've been burried under Easter Egg hunt plans for several days. LOL Had to find my way out from under the eggs to get to the ng!

Ok, is it bad when you want to take your camera to church staff planning meetings just to catch those weird & wacky moments...just so you can scrap them? LOL

Thanks Sabrina! I enjoyed doing it and showed DD the next morning. :-)

LOL No, I figured DS would yell for Daddy and tell him "Mommy's making too much noise." DD can sleep through pretty much anything.

Thanks Lynne. My goal was for the brads to be an enhancement! Yay! I made it! :-) Thanks for looking.

Thanks Barb! All the brads are Colorbok. I still have her little 'diploma' they gave her. Now she's finishing up 1st and taking Taekwondo! They grow up too fast.

Thanks Cathy. It's funny, I'm not a Precious Moments lover, but those stickers just looked so darn cute!
