March Challenge Page

I've sent my March Challenge to M-C but I thought I'd share. It's part of my house construction album "our house". The Kitchen1 and Kitchen2 are the challenge submission pages. I followed the 8.5x11 sketches. The two pages have 26 brads! Is that enough? :-)

Thanks M-C! It was a fun challenge.

I love the use of the brads, they almost look like finishing nails. You can be so happy with the layouts as I'm gonna scraplift some ideas.

Way to go Amy! That's a wonderful layout. I like the use of the background paper throughout your house album. It brings lots of cohesion to the album. The brads are great!

Looks good! I like how this whole album blends together. It's a neat idea to use the scanned blueprints for your background paper. I never would have thought of that. Thanks for sharing. Sandy

I like your album. Very nice. I like how all of the pages flow. Your pages are wonderful as is. I do have a sizzix hammer and nail die that I can cut some out for you if you like. They may come in handy to you in the future. I have paper that looks like "wood" that I could cut them out of. Let me know if your interested. Feel free to email me.

Thank you. I'm kind of proud of that background. I scanned the actual blueprints and created three backgrounds that I use throughout the album. Cohesion was the objective.

It wasn't until I was finished that I thought I should have created a "mirror image" of the background. If I had, two-page LOs would have looked better. Oh well. I've only got the final walk-through to do an I'm done! I'll let you all know when I do. :-)

Thanks!

That is very sweet, but I'm just about done so I'll keep it mind for the future.

The wood floor page is one of a three-page LO. It goes, "wood", "Tile", "baseboards", "oh my!" My DH thought it was a bit weird, but I didn't care. I get the joke.

Amy, I didn't realise that you had already completed the March Challenge.....great job on your Kitchen Lo's. I love the colours you've used! Just had a look through your house LO's and you have done a fantastic job on them. I love the background using the construction plans. Really creates the right feel for an album featuring a house construction.

Looks great Amy. I love eyelets. I've never use so many eyelets on a page. I plan on using some then forget and glue down what I was going to use them on. Then its too late.

Oh that looks pretty snazzy! The brads work very good with the theme of construction. I like the earthy colours too. :))
