My nearly new Sizzix sidekick stopped working a little while back, and a washer fell out of the bottom, and it stopped working...sent them an email asking if there was some sort of authorized repairs, and they replied:
"Thank you for your reply. We do apologize for the inconvenience. The little piece that has come out is called the washer. Once this happens the machine is no longer operable. We don't have or carry replacement parts for this particular machine. The machine's warranty is good for 90 days only."
I only used this sidekick 3-4 times! :-(
Isn't there another brand that has a machine similar to the sidekick? Does that work better? If they were cheaper to replace it wouldn't be a big deal, but man, $30 for basically a disposable tool isn't worth it! >:-(
