January challenge done

Love the greenhouse LO. I have a package of pics of my flowers from a few years ago that I have not been able to visualize in a LO yet. You have given me inspiration. Now I have to find the package. I have not done much embossing. Your's looks great. I need to give this challenge a try. Sandy

Thank you Marilyn. yes I did have lots of fun embossing. Only one problem -- my girls like embossing as much as I do so I have to wait my turn when they are awake. I'm not used to needing to take turns with my tools since they each hae their own scissors and other basics. Oh well, as long as they let me use their new stuff I'll learn to deal with it.

Thank you Sandy. I had fun doing the greenhouse LO. I got the idea from a Becky Higgins sketch. I'm also considering trying a mosaic with some of my flower pics. Didn't want to cut these into little squares though 'cause some of them are the first photos my DD took. I have not done much embossing either. The alphabet template was a birthday present this Jan. and the scrapboss was a Christmas present. M-C's challenge was well timed to get me trying my new tools. It is a lot of fun.

Great layouts Lorilee. I really like the embossing. Isn't it fun to do?

One girl said "Mom I'll share my new stamps with you" the other ran off to her room to put them in her craft box. Hmmm, I don't think she wants to share. LOL. We'll see once we get through the busy birthday time and get a chance to get out crafting stuff more often if she shares or not. They both used some of their Christmas money to buy alpha stickers to use in their scrapbook. My DH is feeling a little left out, but I haven't convinced him that he can participate also. His loss.

Thanks Cathy. Yes embossng is fun to do. I like to heat emboss also but don't have a heat gun. I was using my iron but its not working, good thing I don't have many clothes that need ironing. LOL. This is the 2nd iron I've worn out crafting between working with fabric and embossing. I noticed that there is a coupon for Michaels this week though.

I had a lot of fun with the garden LO also, and was pleased with how it turned out. The DD in purple is the one that helped take pics that day.

Way to go Lorilee! You're way ahead of me. I forgot the January challenge! LOL

Thank you Deb, I actually went looking for the January challenge. I hadn't done any scrapping since July, and was looking for an idea to get me started again. Thankfully January has been a little calmer than the fall was and I have been able to go back to some of my hobbies.
