Thank you Sandy & MC. We are doing well, mostly. I do look forward to getting the book done and sent out to everyone. I am not sure whether or not the round robin idea is a good one. Am I being silly. I've put so much work into it and I guess I want to assume it will make the rounds and get back to where it belongs -- with my grandmother Bettie, Virginia's only surviving child. What do you think, what would you do? And of course, I look forward to posting the book in it's entirety for all my new friends at rcs to see and oogle over. :)

Tell you what I would do and have done. I would spend a little extra money and photocopy the album at Kinko's. I would put each page I copied in another album and I would send that one around. That way the original could go strait to your grandmother and not be lost in the mail or stay in someone's home for months because they didn't have time to mail it on to the next person.

I've copied a couple of the albums I've made at Kinko's and the copies were so good that many couldn't tell the difference from the original. The max copy I could get was 11 wide by 17 inches long so I made sure that the width was what I cut in the layout since I have a tendancy to use the whole length when I scrap. Then I mounted the copy on cardstock to make up the inch difference. Where I had used some sort of border and I had another available, I redid the border. But even where had not redone the border no one really noticed. If you are still making pages and decide to photocopy them, you can easily create your pages so that 1 inch in one direction or even 1/2 inch top and bottom or side to side is left clear.

I'm so sorry to hear about your GG, Melissa. You're doing an awesome job in keeping her memory alive. I know your grandmother will cherish the album once you get it done.

I'm sorry about your granny Melissa. Looks like she must've had a very full life. I bet she could weave some wonderful tales about the good ole days. I know my granny could. My granny made it to 98 I believe. She's been gone for a few years now. She always made the best homemade lemonade...so much better than Koolaid, and she always had a quilt in progress whenever we visited. She lived alone and cared for herself all the days of her life. Amazing woman.

Thank you M-C for the suggestion. That feels a whole lot safer. I will do as you suggest. The book is 50 pages long thus far (and were only at about age 5). So this will definately be a multi-album collection. And I'm only speaking about the book from the first 20 years of her life not the following 70+ My gosh what have I gotten myself into! FUN and lots of it.

Glad it helped and that you are not on your last 50 pages! LOL. That does sound like a huge undertaking! I can't wait to see the pages as you go along. I hope you will get the chance to share with us all!
