more about traditions

I have to tell you guys about this because we were talking about traditions. My Grandma is 82 now and she is just too funny. Very active, fun women. I am hoping to have half her life at half her age! BUT anyway... when I was very young, about 10 or so, my Grandfather passed away. This part is important to show how long this has been going on. He had gotten these idustrial rolls of wrapping paper... a few years prior to him passing, I might add. Well, it was red with little white dots all over it. Up until now... that is what Gram was know for come present giving time. We always knew which gifts were from her. We all used to joke about who would inherit the paper later on. She gave us the bad news last week that she ran out. Remember, I was 10 when my Grandfather passed away and I am over 30 now. LOL. It was going to happen sooner or later. She seemed kind of upset by this. So, we all went on a hunt and I found a huge roll of Gram's paper ... red with white little dots all over it! THE TRADITION WILL CONTINUE!

I think this is the kind of story that just begs to be scrapped and preserved for future generations!

Oh how funny. Hope your Grandmother wasn't glad it was all gone. hehe She started a tradition and didn't know it at the time. Isn't it funny how something so simple as dotted paper and make one feel all warm and fuzzy.
