I found the picture I was looking for and finished my Lo. I usually work with 12x12 so could not scan it instead played with taking a picture of it. And then I read the helpful discussion about how to do that, oh well, now I know for next time. To view the layout:

I think the picture turned out fine. I know it probably doesn't look anything lik the original, but it gives us a good idea what it looks like. I really like the texture on the background paper. Is it really texture or a picture of texture? Also did you stamp the names and "L"? Looks really nice.

That's very nice Lorilee! I like the ribbon flowers you used with the photo mat. Wonderful background. It looks like the handmade-type paper.
The background is textured paper. The names and "L" are stenciled. I have one set of alphabet stamps but they are just block letters. I much prefer the stencils.

This time I did, sometimes I use a wide pen so I don't have to color after tracing. I have occasionally trced in one color and colored in another and I like that effect also.
