My First 6x6 Theme Album

Well, I've been busy this past month working on a Memory Album for my parents 31st wedding anniversary on 8/31. It's a second marriage for them both - My father passed away many years ago ....and Bill's spouse passed away the same year. Bill has become Dad over the years as I've had him in my life longer then my own father. You will notice that the last picture of Mom & Dad is 2001 - the reason being is my Mom refuses to allow her picture to be taken. She has been bedridden since 2001 with a terminal illness. So the album will serve two purposes - one as a gift for their anniversary and two - something small for Dad to flip through to remember some of their special times together.

Please take a look and see a beautiful second chance for love and happiness. The album name is "Through the Years" - My inspiration was the song by the same name sung by Kenny Rogers.

Thanks for looking.

I really liked the album. I've always wondered how to do a 6x6 and have room for expression. Yours was great. Peggy in NJ

thanks everyone - and an update - I gave the album to my parents yesterday (We planned the celebration on Sunday so my DL could be there - he works nights) and they were both overwhelmed. Mom said today she has gone through it at least 5 times already and Dad has twice. A neighbor lady came for a visit and she shared it with her. To all those that liked the beard - Dad was tickled. He also likes it but not here in FL to hot and itchy he says.

Thanks again for looking!

Maureen how did you do the photo corners on the 1990/91 pages? They are so nice and really set off the pictures. I'm glad your parents liked the album.

Cathy - I used Fiskars Imperial Corner Punch - on a two inch square piece of paper and then cut the opposite end off to form a triangle. I tried to maintain the same distance from the picture to the corner edge all around.
