Hi folks...I have just uploaded my first stitched LO which incorporates the fixed polaroid pictures that I was up till 1.00 a.m fixing. Thanks for looking!

My jaw literally dropped open when I saw your LO. Not only is the LO GORGEOUS, but you did an AMAZING job restoring those Polaroids. I'm VERY impressed. I like sewing on my LOs too. The effect looks great on your LO. Did you like it? Will you do it again?

That turned out really great Marilyn. I love the sewing. I don't have a sewing machine, but I've seen a lot of other members sew on LO's and it's awesome. Your pictures turned out great. Did it take long to fix them.

Thanks Shannon.....the photos are not perfect but passable for a LO :o) It took me 4 hours or so to fix them in small sessions. It is so eye-pulling filling all the little gaps and blemishes. Sometimes the results are not what you want. Start over again LOL I expect some folks could be much quicker at it than I was!

Lori...I just used a standard zig zag....made sure I started with the needle in the cardstock and went fairly slowly. Keep the needle down when you turn the corners and you should be fine. No other adjustment was required on my machine! I would say make sure you use a sharp needle and keep it for stitching LO's. Mine's is stitched through 2 layers Chatterbox textured cardstock + 1 layer of patterned paper in some places.

Thanks Lynne...close up there are still flaws but they are better than they were and at least I have stopped the rot. I really like the stitching on the LO Lynne...it was just being brave enough to try it for the first time :o) Marilyn

Thanks again Cathy :o) The paper was from a monthly kit I bought last year and it has been waiting for a special LO. I guess this was it! :o) You can see the whole range here but I had alpha rub-ons, slightly different ribbon and no flowers, but chipboard parenthesis pieces. The kit was bought through a UK online scrapping store and had cardstock included - not direct from here

I have just looked at some of their other sets and I love many of them. There site seems to be undergoing some upgrade but you can access the products using the drop down menu. Take care, Marilyn

Looks great, Marilyn. When you think about it, stitching is a pretty cheap technique to use on a LO, and it carries a lot of punch. Sandy
