Today's LO upload

Hi folks...just one LO uploaded today but that makes five in the last two days :o) I spent most of the morning cleaning and dressing my leather Chesterfield suite.....whew!!!! Hard work but worth it but I am starving hungry now :o)

I also just took delivery of my new camera...so I will need some time to play this afternoon. I have the Fujifilm S602 Zoom and love it but at the weekend the QVC TSV was a Fuji S5700 7MP Digital Camera 10X Optical Zoom

512MB XD, Case & Charger. Hehehe.....I was busy drooling over it and DH said if I wanted it buy it. What else has a girl to do????? :o)

Back to the layout......the main photo of GD was taken on Christmas Day 2005 and I just loved it :o) I decided it needed a page of it's own.....not particularly Christmas themed. The coordinating papers came from a Scrap Pack that our "one and only" Dave sent me last year......just perfect!!!! TY Dave

How very pretty Marilyn! I mean both the LO and your GD. I can see why you thought the pictures should be SBd on their own!

You're right that did need a page all it's own. What a precious picture!! I love the close up and then the further away look. Did you take the pictures like that or blow it up and crop?

Lynne....I took the picture using the Zoom facility but I managed to chop of the top of her head. To make it suit the LO I just cropped the original in close to her head and printed it. I have made a similar LO for her Mum using the same focal picture but a different smaller shot. The papers were from the same stack but based on a pink/burgundy this time. Turned out nice but I still like the green LO best...seems to go better with the red tones in her hair :o)

It is a beautiful layout Marilyn. Your GD is adorable. I really like the layered patterned paper mats, very nice.

Thank you Cathy.....I did another page for DD's book using a similar LO in another colour...pinks/burgundy. However, I personally prefer the soft greens :o) Take care, Marilyn

How pretty Marilyn! You're right. Such a pretty girl and pretty photo deserves a pretty LO all of it's own. :-)

Thank you Kate :o) Most of what I do is led by the photos or the paper. This photograph was just a happy accident and I feel it needed little help from me to look nice.
