I did go to the site and did a search and found the ones you picked out. I liked the colors on the first basic grey one, but for a man I would pick a more masculine colored one. Did you see the one with the old stamp look on it...lifes journey 12x12 gatefold? I am rather partial to the Lifes Journey line for ancestor and heritage things! Good luck on deciding! :-) Linda C

Thanks for your opinion. I'm also concerned, that the colors on the basic grey are not masuline enough. But I don't really like the color on the Life's journey one. Maybe in real the colors look a little better. I think they are to orangish :) This is why I thought about the leather one. It would certainly be more masculine.

I got to see Deb's finished album yesterday. It is magnificent! If there is a dry eye in the house when she gives them the album, I'll be very surprised. Deb truly had a great eye for enhancing the pages to match the look and feel of the cards, emails and letters that she got from the people that knew her paretns. It is just awesome. Frankly, I hope that she will only post a few pages of the album at a time so that we can all spend time ouuuing and awwwing over each page as opposed to the whole album. It certainly will be worth the moments you spend looking at it when she posts!

This sounds like a wonderful project Susanne. The Sublime gatefold is a nice album, but the colors aren't exactly masculine. The leather gatefold looks like a very nice masculine album, though. The other option would be to buy a plain album and decorate it yourself. I used a K & Co. album. In fact, there's one listed on the same site you were looking at.
