Hi Shaz downunder! So lovely to see you! You must bring us up to date on what's happening at Uni!

a good friend is a life long treasure

Don't you have to use paper from a scrapbooking store or at least somewhere that sells acid free?

Hi all.

Thanks for the lovely welcome, and I have made some progress already. A friend recommended a new craft shop, and they do beginners workshops for scrapbooking! I am booked in for later this month and will come away with my first page complete I hope. The shop is only 5 miles away, and I never even knew it existed. Never mind, i have found it now and I am really looking forward to the workshop. I'll pop back afterwards and tell you all how it went.

thanks

Hi Shaz

I had the same experience when I started out about a month or so ago. I was AMAZED at how many shops there was in my proximity I did'nt even know about. Not all of them are exclusive Scrapbook shops, but they do stock a lot of goodies one can use. I don't know how come I've never noticed them befor, perhaps one just don't see things you don't know about...lol...that sounds strange, but anyways.

Have a ball.

Hi Shaz,

One thing you can count on from now until forever is your scrapbook radar being on continuous red alert! It will now be impossible for you to pass by a scrapbook store, aisle, item, etc. without noticing it.

Welcome to a wonderful hobby.

Warmest regards,

Marcia Tomseth Vancouver Washington

P.S. Our volacano erupted again this morning. I should scrap the event! :-)
