New Swap: Fibers

It will be for fancy fibers only. No yarn or chenille. 3 yds each. You can find a wide assortment at the craft stores and WalMart, even online. Maybe someone could share some online stores. If you're lucky enough to have a knitting store nearby you can find some beautiful and unusual fibers there.

You can reply here but you MUST e-mail me to sign up. I'll be sure to send you a response so that you know I got the message. I'm thinking that a month is plenty of time to complete this swap. I'll take sign ups until the 20th. That's a week. And the due date will be Feb 20th. How's that sound?

I checked out your swaps April. They're very specific as to color and brand though. I'd rather do a hodge podge type of swap. It makes it easier for shopping this way. Don't be mad, okay?

I'm not mad just wondering if my posts were being read. I did post for an UNUSUAL Fiber/yarn swap though.

Katrina, I'd like to participate. Never been involved in a swap before. I've been a member since October. Is that long enough?

Oh, I've still got plenty too from last time Barb. For me, it seems to be more of a collection than something I actually use much of. Still can't get enough though.

This fiber I found is a Jo-Ann exclusive. It's called Dark Blue Willow Yarn and it's described as "A luxurious ribbon yarn with a lavish look and feel." It is really pretty. It came in other colors, but I thought what the heck would I do with $25 worth or 218 yards of fiber. hehe
