New to group & Confused

Hi my name is Susan and I go by Scrapsue. I just fond newsgroups and this group. I love to scrapbook and have been for about 7 years. What I'm confused about are the posts that call people strange names and they don't look like they are talking about scrapbboking? Could any one explaine that part of the group to me. Other wise I look forward to reading and posting the scrapbook posts. Scrapsue
