New to Scrapbooking

Welcome to the group Debra and especially welcome to scrapbooking! This group is a great place to be for anything you need to know (and some things you don't need to know LOL) My first step was to go to a CM get together. Then ,just like Topsy, it grew! I'm getting into swing dancing. Not on purpose. Some of my parts are just prone to swinging.

I believe it would be a good idea to learn scrapbooking. My son is on his second tour of duty in Iraq and I thought it would be something interesting I can do to keep from chewing my fingernails down to the nub. He is married and his wife is waiting at his duty station about 175 miles away but maybe scrapbooking can turn into a joint project to help both of us. Sort of do it together but just in different locations. LOL. We talk on the phone a lot and both have computers so possibly we can both get involved in this and keep us sane. Even if it turns out that she doesn't enjoy it, its still something I want to do even on my own and I have tons of pictures just sitting in boxes.
