Online Photo Storage Question

I've had a web sh*ts account for several years & mainly use it to upload samples of my various albums for folks to view online. My cousin uploaded a couple dozen photos to her account with the same folks so I could download them. Up came a "we own the rights to all photos" notice & "you have to purchase the images & use our software" (not those exact words, but that's the gist of it). While it did let me save them then open them with PhotoShop, at 400 dpi (the size I generally save them at for print), they're only the size of a postage stamp.

Has anyone here had good experiences with any of the other free sites? We're looking for one that won't resize the photos or insist that they own them.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Wow, you're quick, Crystal. Thanks! I forwarded your suggestions to my cousin. It would be neat if she could set it so that only I could download the photos, since they're of my dad.

I use webshots with no problem. I also use snapfish.com, and photoworks.com to do printing of pics.
