Online Photo companies

I am looking at some guidance on who uses what company to upload their digital photos to and get them printed out.

I have already a ton of them (!!) and already tried some local print places and the quality is awful, ot to mention the price. So was wondering who do you use, how is the quality of the pictures and how long do they take. Price is not really a issue or time, BUT QUALITY is!!!

I did a couple online searches for companies and WOW there are a bunch. I then tried to go and find a comparison or opinion site about this subject but don't know where to look for that.

TIA

Dave,

If you're looking for picture quality and longevity in your prints there's only one website to go to:

Yes, it costs more but they're using archival papers, pigments and processing. They've done all the research and know about which chemicals are bad and which are terrible, what is safe and what is not. It's their business and their mission... "Creative Memories believes in and teaches the importance of preserving the past, enriching the present, and inspiring hope for the future. "We promote the tradition of the historian/storyteller and the importance of memory preservation and journaling for future generations."

The photos are great and I usually get them in 3-4 days after I upload them. Their customer service is great, I had uploaded two orders, one on Monday and the next on Tuesday. I got the Tues order first and when the Monday order didn't come I emailed them. It turned out that someone messed up there and they apologised, sent me the photos overnight and then added a $20 credit to my account for my trouble! At any rate you can try them, if you use coupon code F73Y9GE4 they will give you 50 4 x 6 prints for free and shipping is always a flat rate fee of $0.99

Hi, Dave!

I have been using

. It is easy to upload pictures (which is very important to me cause I take so many pictures) and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the paper isn't the best but the colors are good. They work for what I use them for. I had one problem with not getting my order via the mail and they sent out a replacement as soon as I called. If you are a new customer you get 10 or 15 free prints automatically. Try them out.

I just get mine printed at Walgreens. You can upload the shots to their website and then pick the prints up at your local store, or you can pay a little extra and get them to mail them to you... I like picking them up myself because you can get them inside two hours from the time you ordered them!

I upload my digi pics to CVS.com, edit and crop them on their site, and pick them up in the store the next day or so, and if you order more than 50 (i think), they are 19 cents each. I just have to watch how big the file sizes are when I upload them. They do take a bit longer if you dont have cable, but if they arent big enough, the quality is awful. I worked it all out finally, and It works for me! :-)
