Well the circle of life continues! I am at work today, get off duty in about an hour. We have made 4 calls for preganet women, all of them are "about to deliver". The first 3 weren't even close. The 4th we get there (thankfully the ambulance was there) she says the baby is coming, her water breaks then the baby is born! We then hear on the radio that another company is working a Code Blue (doing CPR). Baby and Mom are doing great, I even got a kiss from the paramedic!

Kenda (off to get ready to go home and have another cup of coffee)

Well that was a blessing! I'm glad to hear that you had an uplifting day! Hope you get to relax and rest for the rest of the day! Sounds like the mom didn't have much of a hard time. Surely this wasn't her first!!!

Congrats on helping with the delivery!

Wow! It's great getting to see a baby born! I hope the code blue turned out OK.

Wow.....I love being present at births. It is an exhilarating experience...something so special about new life :o)

You and those pregnant moms, Kenda! LOL Hope you were able to rest up after busy work day. Ooo....a kiss from the medic! Was he cute? *ducks a flying boot*

Kenda Those kind of calls make it all worth it in the end, dont they? Congrats on being able to help them all ! I would like to thank all firefighters for the awsome jobs they perform. Enjoy that coffee! :-)

No it was her 5th!! hmmmmm, maybe it's time she stopped?!?! LOL

It turned out as expected, the person didn't make it, sadly that's the way it usually turns out. : (

Yes he was veeeery good looking! DH asked if the medic was a girl? I said why he couldn't decide if he should be mad or turned on! LOL Keep in mind he asked that in the middle of the engine room with about 15 other guys standing around!

It actually lifted me spirits as we'd had a number of really crummy shifts that really were starting to wear on me. I think it will carry me over for a while.

So sorry to hear that.
