This is what I've been doing. Making sugar skulls for son's "Dia de los Muertos" celebration in his Spanish class. It was fun molding the sugar and then decorating with royal frosting. LynneOT: Crafty food

I'm in the office taking my lunch break at daycare, sitting down for the first time today, eating a pot pie and wishing I had something sweet to eat....like chocolate....and what pops up when I check the newsgroup? Lynne's chocolate cake.........

I make a big chocolate cake every year for hubby's birthday. Which comes up this month and I'll probably make the same exact cake it was that good. It's a Martha Stewart recipe. Let me pop over to her site and see if it's still there.

and search for Devil's Food Cake with Chocolate Ganache Don't let the recipe scare you. It was time consuming, but it was easy to do. It is SO good it will hold you for a full year, before you'll feel the need to make one again. haha

As for the sugar skulls I ordered molds off of this web site last year and they come with all the directions to do every thing.

AC Moore had skull molds but the ones I saw online for sugar skulls appear to be deeper. I love to shop so I have no choice but to be a Deal Queen, otherwise my husband would have to work 24 hrs/day rather than 12.
