OT: Hurricane Charley

I haven't posted in ages. DH redid our computer and I need to get the group set back up plus I haven't felt good at all. I have my good and bad days.

The reason I was writing today is for prayers. Hurricane Charley is going to be here tomorrow. I'm actually very nervous. Never been through a hurricane before. We are going to be packing. Not sure if we are going to be evacutated or not. Just wanted to ask for some prayers for us and everyone else in Florida. I hope that everyone is doing well.

Thank you everyone,

Tabitha (Posting through Google)

Sorry that you haven't been feeling that great Tabitha. That just means you have a healthy baby though.

Will say prayers for you guys and that you don't have to evacuate.

Tab, You have my prayers. My neice lives down there and my sister is visiting. They live near Patricks AFB.

Is your being sick because of your being PG? I stayed sick 9 mo with my second child. So I can understand your being ill.

I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts as well as anyone else living in the path of the hurricanes. I hope you start feeling better.

We had quite a bit of rain today in north central FL. DH got a phone call yesterday afternoon and his work wanted to know if he would he able to team drive to Atlanta and then down to Miami and work their way back up. They were dropping of pallets of water to all the company stores. He called me around 5 pm and they were headed to a store down in the Tampa area and he said traffic was getting thick going away from FL's west coast. It might take longer for them to get back home than it normally would. I'll be praying for you Tabitha - we usually get lots of rain and some wind and tornado watches but I am sure you will get more severe weather since you're much closer to the coast than I am. I hope everyone is safe.

I hope you start feeling better Tabitha. I made it through Hurricane Hugo and I was scared to bits. I know how nervous you must be. My prayers are with you and I'm sending you a big hug. {{{{{{{Tabitha}}}}}}}}

I just read it has become a Cat. 4 Hurricane, my thoughts and prayers are with those that are in it's path in FL! We are expected to get 4-6 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 50 mph here in the Piedmont in NC on Sat. so we will be "hunkered down" too, just not near as bad! take care! Tabitha I will be thinking of you!

I'm glad to hear that you are okay too Lori. I read about the tornados and remembered that you were around that area.

Thanks Lynette! I just used one of your items from one of the swaps in my scrapbook this week :)

On another note- just checking in with everyone - how are all of you in FL? Tabitha? Susan W. ? Patty? others? We are fine- it completely missed us, it stayed east of I-95. Just thinking ands praying for those that were in the path.

Yeah!!!!!!!!! That makes me happy. I haven't worked in my albums in a while! I've got to get going. But I'm having a crop at my house on Friday so maybe I get ready for that.
