That is so easy to catch! Be careful what you touch around the house. The bad thing with pink eye is you can touch a surface that someone touched with it and rub your eye and thats it...thats all it takes. I work at a hospital and have gotten it more than once. I feel for you it is aggravating! They constantly itch and then when you rub them too much they burn. I'm glad that you got the drops. Hang in there it will be over soon.

I have gotten some other symptoms. I got this crap last Saturday. It's been one week already. Today I think I can see the light at the other end. Other than the rest of my body feels like crap. A couple of days ago I started feeling week all over. My neck is all stiff. My upper back hurts. I don't feel like eating much. (that's a good thing though LOL) I also have a blood vessel in my eye that has popped or something. It doesn't hurt though.
Now the other lady at work that got this also. She has had flu like symptoms. She is almost over it but it's been 3 weeks for her. She went to the eye doctor and they told her that it could take up to 3 months for her to wear her contacts again. I'm glad I don't wear them.
It just makes us made that the lady at work that had her daughter there new she had it and still brought her in again the next day. She hasn't even said she sorry either. I'd had for anyone to have this, but.......... (I KNOW I'M HORRIBLE FOR SAYING THIS) I wish she would get it. Other people in her family have gotten it but her. She's quitting work anyway and moving out of town so I won't have to worry about it much long. Hopefully by next weekend I will feel like scrapping again. I'm never going to get caught up.
