OT: I'm Back

Boy you all were quite busy while I was gone. It is going to take me awhile to get through all 983 posts, so if I missed something important, please let me know.

The cruise was wonderful. We had such a good time. Did lots of eating and walking and more eating. Steve took almost 900 pictures! I have posted a few of them in my yahoo photos account if you want to take a look. They are in the European Cruise folder. Now I just need to sit down and decide which ones to use in the scrapbook.

All the cities we visited were amazing, but I think the two favorites were Paris and London. Paris is such a beautiful city with lots of wonderful architecture and statues. My daughter was so exited to finally see the Eiffel Tower up close. It has been a dream of hers for a long time. We have a friend in London and he took us on a wonderful walking tour of the city.

Glad you are back and had a terrific time Cathy!!!!! I have had a quick look at the photos you have put online and they are fabulous :o) I bet you will have a difficult time chosing the ones you will want to scrap!!!!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for the RAK package you sent me. The oriental designed cardstock is just beautiful and the oriental collage paper pack will be of good use for both card-making and scrapbooking. Thank you so much....your generosity is much appreciated :o)

Take care, Marilyn

Most of the time in Paris was spent on the bus touring the city, so we didn't have much interaction with the people. Although the people on the lunch cruise we took were very nice.

I think it's going to take me a while to get the scrapbook finished. I have to do two for my dad before I can tackle the trip! Maybe I can sneak a few pages in here and there. I'll post them as I get them done.

If we ever make it OKC I'll be sure and give you a call to warn you! :-)

Thanks Sandy. The weather was great, not too hot except for two of the stops and on those we were in tour buses most of the time so it wasn't bad.

Thanks M-C. I'll post them as I get them done, but it might be a while as I have a few other projects to finish first.

I lived in Paris for just under a year many years ago. When you get to meet the "real" Parisians" they are really nice people. It's the ones that have to deal with demanding tourists that seem to get a little snippy!

Welcome back !! I agree with you. I love London and Paris but I have not seen any other countries. Just England and France. Glad you all had such a good time!
