I'm signing in the rain, signing in the rain... yeah we are finally getting rain down here, thanks to tropical storm Barry! It's been unbelievably dry around here for weeks! If it rains enough maybe we can even have some 4th of July fireworks without having the whole state go up in smoke!
I know how you feel. We have had water restrictions and many fires around here. A friend of mine had to evacuate her house for a few days. It has been awful! So tonight I went to see Pirates 3 (Depp was great as usual) and then stayed up to wait for the rain to come in. It is almost 2AM and Barry is finally here! Hurray! I am so glad Barry has decided to visit here too maybe it will help reduce the fires.

If Barry is in as great a shape in GA as he is in FL it will go a long way to helping things out. We got the perfect rain, hours of a steady drizzle to soak the ground and then several big downpours overnight. Just what we needed!

So glad to hear you guys got some rain. It has smelled like rain around here and been clouded over, but no rain. I think we're done for the year. We're entering our 6 months with no rain.
