OT: Johnny Depp

Have you seen the movie "Secret Window?" What's up with that? He was his usual cute self, but what a weird movie.

It reminded me way too much of his other movie where he was a book dealer looking for a book for the devil.

It was good but I don't mind drooling for a while.

I.E., Chocolat, Pirates, Jump Street. etc.

OOOOH baby.

You know that "Ninth Gate" was weird too. I keep watching his movies to see his cute face and rooked into the weird ones.

I didn't get it until he got it. At the same time, it was strange. I liked the movie. But I'm a big Johnny Depp fan, especially since Pirates of the Carribean. Can't wait for part II to come out.

Ninth Gate was a bit weird for me too, but in spite of that, I still think he did a good job. Secret Window was written by Stephen King, so it's in the "weird genre", but I thought it was well done. One never realized untill the end that it was all in his mind! Allthough there was little clues along the way. I like movies that keep you guessing until the end :) My favourite story by Stephen is The Green Mile. I read the book befor I saw the movie and for a change the movie lived up to the book. I cried my eyes out in that movie!

DH's fav movie of all times. He's a Stephen King fan - have collected almost all his books in hardcover. When I start reading them, I can't put them down, but then I have a difficult time afterwards going to sleep! LOL

Me thinks so too! Can't say it too loudly though...cause hubby gets a teensy bit jealous. Men!! He likes Catherine Zeta Jones and J-Lo and I don't care in the least - he's aloud to drool a bit! LOL

I've just read the most wonderful news this week in one of our local papers! Johnny is coming to Cape Town in November!! They are shooting part of the follow up of Pirates here in South Africa! OH MY! How lucky can a girl be? ;)

How lucky can you get! Are you going to try to go see a shooting? I was lucky enough to be in Savannah, GA with my GS troop the same week they were shooting The General's Daughter and Forces of Nature. We watched them film the bank scene in Forces of Nature and got lots of great pictures. It was only a block from the Girl Scout birthplace. The day the girls were to take part in their special event I couldn't go because I had my tags (youngest DD and DS) with me and they couldn't go. So the little ones and I walked down to the riverfront area and I was letting them play in a small park area with rocks. John Travolta walks by within ten feet of us. They were setting up a shoot right there across the street from us. My middle DD had the camera with her for the event she was doing so I didn't get even one picture. Now whenever we go anywhere everyone has their own camera. Sandy
