OT: Lost a dear friend!

I just got an email early this morning that one of my very good friend died and was buried on Saturday. She was 44 yrs old. She died of colon cancer (she went to the dr about 3 or 4 weeks ago and told her that she had cancer). Her sister died of breast cancer in her late 30's/40's, then lost her father and then her. Her mother is left behind. I was shocked to hear about her. Also she left behind her husband (no children). She is buried next to her father. I will have to go see her mother sometimes next week to pay my respect. Just wanted to get my feelings out. Marcie

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Colon cancer is an aweful desease, my dad died of it, but it can be beaten if detected early. My brother is a

13 year survivor. However, he would have done even better than he did if people had not misdiagnosed him the first year he complained.

This must be a devastating time for you and for your friend's mom. I will keep a special place in my prayers for her and for you.
