OT: NYPD Investigation IS OVER!!!!!

I start the Police Academy as a Police Administrative Assistant Aide starting February 20, 2007.

I am so excited. Although I love my job at Queens Centers for Progress, they reHired Stephanie and she has been a b*T** from hell ever since her rehire yet the higher uppers can't seem to see her attitude through their closed doors.

I took today off to have a mental health day (or i would have slugged stephanie) and Larry (DH)'s big boss called to say I am candidate #9 for this class. I'm so excited. It is also a big pay raise nearly $3,500 more a year than what I am making now.

Whoo Hoo.

That is so great Kate. I'm excited for you. It is never fun being at work where you don't like someone you work with. That is one of the reasons why I quit my job in October to stay at home and help john with our business. I was so sick of being yelled at in front of everyone for no reason. It's much better now that I'm home. Are you and Larry still living in the basement of your in-laws. I wasn't for sure. Just think you will be able to buy for scrapbookings supplies then!

Yes we are still in the basement. But as a congrats Larry is letting me get the cardstock pack that arrived at AC Moore as a valentine's gift/NYPD job.

It's not ignorant. If you take Police and Aide away you get Administrative Assistant which is a glorified Secretary for the NY police department.

So my title will be PAA Interrante come Feb 20th. I'm so looking forward to this.
