OT: Out of touch

I feel so out of touch this month. I haven't really done any scrapbooking at all. I did make an ornament out of old Christmas cards. I should take a picture of it and share. I had a cookie exchange which really took up some time. I had to bake 18 dozen cookies as one of my ladies flaked and I didn't want the group to be short. Then I had Gingerbread house making at my house yesterday for the my kids and their friends. I bake real gingerbread for these and that takes time too, but every year it seems there is a new kid. They always say I've never seen real gingerbread I've only used graham crackers. Then they proceed to eat all the gingerbread men I've made for the express purpose of eating saying how good they are.

Now I'm gearing up for the big tamale day on Monday. December is just sailing by. I'm really looking forward to relaxing and scrapbooking in January!

I post when I can and if I don't respond to your post it's not that I don't love your work or concerned about your well being I just don't always have time to post.

Love it all, Lynne

Oh Lynne, we know that this time of year is busy for everyone, so stop in when you can! Don't forget to take time out for yourself. That will help things run smoothly. Enjoy your children, their friends, family and have a great Christmas!

It's so sad I got all the materials for cards even got some cut out and just haven't found the time to finish them. It seems so silly to make Christmas cards in October or November, but I see the wisdom in it now. I'll have to put it on my calendar.

Don't worry, Lyyne, I understand how things can all get a little away from you! I've been working on things forever and I'll be lucky if they go in the mail today or tomorrow. Gots to get of the puter and get going!

Wow Lynne, sounds like you have been a busy little elf! I can relate. I'm finally getting my Christmas cards in the mail today. For a while it looked like they would be next year's cards instead of this years!

The gingerbread houses sound like lots of fun. Good thinking to make gingerbread men for eating while the kids are working. I bet they had lots of fun.

Take some time to relax and enjoy a cookie or two!
