I want to set up outlook express to be able to read this newsgroup. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to set it up?
I've got it where it will send mail but I just need to set it up so I can read the newsgroup and set the filters. Thanks.

I called Deb's dh as he is a "nerd"! I could not figure it out to save my life and still after two days had problems. I am still having email issues. Having to check thru Hotmail and he could not help me with the WEBTV addy's - grrr!! However i am sure those mailboxes are surely overflowing by now - LOL!
Anyhow I also think Scout Lady is a geek too. Someone will pipe up as I am a doofus when it comes to setting up and configuring anything with email, modems, etc - aaahhh!!!
I can answer this one for you, as I've always used Outlook for my newsreader. It's simple. Go to:
Tools Accounts Click on the News tab Click on the NEW button and follow the instructions. Remember that your serversettings should be news.ISP HERE.net (or com depending on your server). If your own email address ends in .com use that. Mine ends in .net so I use that. Just follow the instructions as you go along and it should set up quite easily.
you don't have to put in your real address for your own though. I have at.the.farm.net for mine. It will do a pop up and ask you if you want to use the unreal address or not. then click yes and VIOLA!
