Help please??? I think I'm lost?????

Question

Hey everyone. I'm posting thru Google right now, cause anything I post thru outlook express isn't showing up for me. Apparently it is showing up in some places. I can see my posts thru Google.

When I send a post thru outlook, I get a message back that I am replying to Multiply's no-reply address. Happens whether it is a brand new post or a reply to another post.

I use news.individual.net and yes I am paid up.

Not sure what is happening. I did install Outlook on my computer recently. I'm using that for all business email and keeping Outlook Express (Windows Mail actually) for my recreational email.

Anyone out there got any suggestions for me?

I guess I got a few marks on my test but didn't quite pass. :(

If you are on a PC you might want to try Thunderbird as a newsreader. It's the mail/news companion to the Firefox browser and can be downloaded for free.  I  have it and like it a lot.Allison

just delete the message about multiply-no-reply.  Someone someplace in the group has this and all it means is that they won't get the posted message. Every time I reply to RCTQ the same thing pops up in our mail box.  Just ignore it and post thru Outlook as always.Gen-

Ok, posting thru google didn't show up in my Outlook Express either. I got responses from Allison, Joanna & Gen to my last try and they show up in Outlook, but not what I sent. This has always worked before, so I'm puzzled as to what's changed. I guess I don't have to see my own posts as long as I see everyone else.

I don't know if this will help or not. Maybe installing Outlook messed up your settings.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools.......Internet Options. Click on the Programs tab and make sure the program you want to use for newsgroups shows up in the drop down box. If not, select it from the drop box and click Apply.

A lot of us are getting these 'multiply-noreply' messages. I thought they might be sinister at first. Just delete them - they are a nuisance, but do no harm.

As to your other problems with not seeing your own posts, it is probably something technical; so I will bow out! . In message , marigold writes

That has been happening quite a bit lately and all of a sudden I started getting the same thing.  I also use Outlook.  I went into my messages and did a block sender and I don't have anymore problems.  Hope this helps!!!!!

Same thing happens to my posts, and I use news.motzarella.org via Outlook Express. (Hopefully none of my posts have "gone missing"... I usually see my posts, so I just delete the msgs from "multiply-no-reply" --
