Well, as you all know I sprained my ankle, so I'm dealing with it OK. Getting kids ready for school making them do a lot of walking for me. Go to get my keys and they are not where they are supposed to be. So, I look around briefly for them and then think well we're just going to have to walk. We only live 1/2 mile away. DAMN I have a sprained ankle! I can't walk. I told my 12 year old son to walk my 9 year old to school. Actually, by then I told them to jog as much as they could. Everything went OK, but I've never sent them off alone like that. Very nerve racking. I called a friend to drive my son to school cause still couldn't find my keys and that school isn't close. After he left house all was quiet. Too quiet... where's the pup? Oh no the dog is lost... and I have a sprained ankle... boo hoo hoo... more walking I can't do, but I will to find my dog. Calm down check the house over once again... kids locked her in the garage. I looked for my keys for 3 hours. Found them in the couch. Definitely a kid didn't put them back where they belong after going to the car. Everyone feigning innocence. I must have walked around the house 1001 times looking for the keys. So, have been taking it easy since then. I went and got copies of the house key and the car key. Not often I have to call friends for help. I'm the stable reliable one. They are all laughing in a good way that I do every now and then become a damsel in distress.
