Thank you all so much

First I want to say THANK YOU all so much. I can't believe the out pouring of support I am getting. I always knew this was and still is the very best newsgroup there is. To answer some of the questions

Do I have room for anything here? Yes I have room we haven't bought much in the way of furniture we have a "Loss of use' Clause in our insurance so we have rented a temporary house and we also rented temporary furniture to use while we are here. any supplies I receive will have a very good home. We are going to go shopping for a nice new sewing basket and everything will be safe and sound there.

Someone asked what kind of things I like? I Like teddy bears, cats, anything to do with tea, or coffee. And dragons and castles and that kind of thing. Actually since I have nothing I am not going to refuse anything you might send me. It will all get used trust me on that.

I have emailed several people but if I missed you my address is

Amber Huffman 213 East Madison Street Girard Illinois 62640

They are holding our mail at the post office since this is temporary we are not going to change anything. We go by the post office every day and also check on the house.

I know by most people's standards my cross stitch stash is low on the list of priorities but since we have lost So much I just want one thing back that I lost and also if I have something to work on maybe I can fill up some of the time we are going to have waiting for the house to be rebuilt.

When we lost all our ornaments I cried but my Husband and I started thinking about it and we decided we have couple of months before Christmas and we were going to make a few at least to hang on the tree. I bought some yellow fabric and cut out a star shape and sewed it up an stuffed it, The idea was to pink the edges and make it look really old fashioned. Well guess what? it was sitting on the table and now it's gone.

Does anyone live near Ocean City MD?. We went on vacation there last summer and I remember I bought a cross stitch kit from the shop on the boardwalk. If anyone has the name I can call and maybe try to replace that kit. I had just started on it, I had all the floss on floss-bows and was ready to go.

What I really miss is a little tin box I had that held my toys. I had a boo-boo stick and a couple different scissors fobs that I had bought and some of those big needles that used to help my railroad stitches and a bunch of other stuff. Maybe it's a good thing there isn't a local needle work shop close by or I would spend a bunch replacing stuff. I promised my Husband to wait until a while has passed before I replace everything it's just so hard.

Amber who is getting very very sleepy since I worked ten hours today. The store I work at is moving and we are helping to pack while we do our usual job
