OT:update on my nanny

Well I went to see her at the hospital today and am pleased to say she seems none the worse for just having a stroke! Her mouth droops a little and her speech is slightly slurred but nothing else. She passed all the tests and was released this afternoon. My Aunt is taking her to her place till Friday then to the lake for the weekend so she won't be alone for the next few days. Thanks for all the support and prayer from this wonderful bunch of people! Barb:o)

She's my Nanny( my maternal grandmother) not the kind we would like to have clean house and look after the kiddos! Lol! Barb:o)

I am so glad to hear this ,Barb. I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. My Mom had a stroke with total left sided paralysis and with rehab she was able to have many more years. She died just short of her 90th birthday. Please take care of you,dear. Love ya,

That's great news Barb! Be careful though because quite often smaller strokes can be followed by larger ones. Glad to hear someone will be w/ her for awhile.
