My friend is adopting two girls from Russia and needs to go over there so

Hilda, What a great oportunity for you ! I think the chance to go to any country other than your own is so worth it. Traveling to other countries is so educational.It is such a wonder to see how different we are and mostly how much alike we all are. Yah for y!! Hugs,

What a great experience! Look into what the weather is like over there! It can be quite a bit different from Florida from what I hear!
Take lots of pictures of everything! It will be the girls heritage!

Oh what a wonderful opportunity!
I didn't get to Russia (St Petersburg was nearest to where I was in 2000) when I was in Estonia and am kicking myself for it but the expense of visas alone was astronomical.
If you can at all get to St Petersburg, you must. It's beautiful from what I've seen on TV Shows, and you know cameras on TV can't do it justice.

WOW! My stepmom went there a few years ago on a teacher exchange program - she had a great time. What an amazing opportunity for you - and even more so, for her! Will keep her in prayers that all goes smoothly with the adoption and your trip.
What fun! We have hosted Russian children through our church several times-it's good that you will get to meet them, and visit Russia! What a great opportunity!
