Well, we are off for a quick vacation to CA. It will be rushed as we will spend 3 days at the big D, plus see all the grands. We'll be driving a lot since they live all over.

Yep, you said it right, "Drive All Over!" But if you have never been in the lA valley, are you in for a rude awakening! They have 4 to 6 lanes for traffic (or more) but it is WORSE than the ne corridor along I-95. Yo WILL NOT be driving, but spending LOTS of time sitting in traffic. So make sure the youngn's have things to do and have your camera at hand!! Best of all HAVE FUN and drive carefully.

Thanks for the heads-up Dave, but we're CA natives so we're familiar with the problems. However they've extended and widened I-210, so we'll be able to take I-5 to I-210 to 57 right down into Placentia without much trouble.
Of course all our flights today were cancelled so we're not leaving until the morning.
Right into Placentia?!!!!! DO tell me where you are going! I went to Jr. High and High School in Placentia LOL- small world! (Tuffree and El Dorado) I lived off of Kramer.
