If I have a store that is doing what yours has been, I tend to not go there again and also actively recommend to anyone asking about that type of store to not go there, and proceed to tell them why. Word of mouth can do wonders to improve service, if talking to the manager won't.

As for the problem from your other post about your 9 year friend. She sounds like some one I knew, who can only have one active good friend at a time. I would just let go of that friendship and not always be available when she wants your attention and time. True friends don't hurt one friend to make another.
