The flu or something....

Hello everyone! I felt a little guilty since I've been reading all these posts about everyone's lifes. Since I'm part of this group I thought I should post something too =)

I'm currently at home and sick w/what I think is the flu. I''m not running a fever, but I'm cold all the time. To give u an idea, specially for you ladies up north, it is 97-100 degrees here in Austin, Texas and I'm wearing sweatpants and matching sweatshirt *with* a t-shirt underneath! My ears feel like tingling. Besides feeling tired and cold and thank goodness no longer coughing, that's all I have. And I better be all well tomorrow to go to work or it's gonna be a loooooong day =) I have also discovered that I cant really type all that well after taking my alka seltzer flu. =) This little note it's been very challenging, so if you spot some mispellings or typos, please forgive me and blame the meds.

In other news.....On Aug 12th (my 3 year anniversary from when I met DH, Daniel) my baby got me the digital camera I told u guys about. Only he forgot to get me the batteries for it. You know, it happens. So, we tried the regular batteries only to find out that they last about 10 mins w/the LCD display running. The next logical step would be to go out and buy batteries for the camera, right? Well, not in my DH's mind apparently. We just bought a bigger TV. I know you guys dont care about the model or the make or anything, so I wont bother. All I know it's a Sony and it's bigger than the one we had before, which worked just FINE, so I cant see why we didn buy my batteries before that. (Sorry, I had to vent)

I sent my info for the NSSSS and I'm so excited about it that I had a dream last night that I received a package. LOL. It must be the drugs.

Well, ladies (and gentlemen if any) sorry for the rambling and ranting. I will go to my couch now, where I should have stayed in the first place. =)

Love

Angie

I like Shaz's plan. I have to hit my husband in the wallet sometimes to get him to do the right thing. Fortunately, he's a tightwad... errr.... frugal with his money so I don't have to hit him too hard.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everybody. I'm feeling better now. It turns out I have allergies =( I didn't want to admit it, but like they say here "after a couple of years living in Austin, you start suffering from allergies". Don't ask me why, but it's happened to every single person I know that isn't originally from here. Thanks for the advice on the batteries. Will get them soon. Take care everybody. Angie

so austin is bad? since i moved to louisville, i've heard that it's one of the worst for allergies. mine are horrendous. i need to go to an allergist, but just don't relish the idea of shots once a week for some reason. which is worse, shots once a week, or constant sinus/chest issues?? ughh.....good luck to you. lori shay louisville
