Ok, I got my new toys this weeks. For those that has SCAL. How do you get a file to open. It is a .svg. I updated the firmware on the cricut like it told me too. I unzipped the file and when I try to open it in SCAL it won't. I've heard something about inkscape. This is a lot harder than I thought. I just want to cut something out eastery to put on some cards for baskets I'm making. Grrrrr. thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

In SCAL you need to import the svg file.

Thanks for the link. Yeah I got my files to open. It worked this time. Now I can play!!!!
Also, do you have a site where you get your free files from. I found a couple of free files. Nothing much though.
