Scrapbox....Lets try this again.........

I'm trying to get a good feel for what people want to see in the scrapbox.Take a look at the list of what I found when sorting the scrapbox last nightand let me know if you would use these items. There is no guideline on howyou respond...you can give an answer to each one, list what you will or willnot use (which ever would be the shortest list), etc. I would like toreceive the responses both on the NG and in my personal email box. Thanksfor your help!1) 12X12 printed paper2) 12X12 solid paper/cardstock3) 8 1/2 X 11 printed paper4) 8 1/2 X 11 solid paper/cardstock5) Plain (unchalked, unembellished) die cuts6) Pre-printed die cuts7) Raffia8) Yarn9) Ribbon10) eyelets11) brads12) punchies13) Preprinted page toppers/titles/borders14) plain (unembellished) tags15) embellished tags16) stickers17) templates (for tracing and cutting shapes)18) Corrugated paper19) Vellum 20) Paint chips (paint color samples)21) Buttons22) Paper piecing patterns23) Paper Dolls24) Jolees25) Precut frames - unembellished26) Precut frames - preprinted27) Googlie eyes28) Misc wood or plastic decorative itemsIdeas that were NOT currently found in the box, but have been there in thepast:1) Hand made borders2) Idea Books3) Gently Used tools (ie patterned scissors, punches, etc...keep in mind theseitems cause excessive weight for postage purposes)One suggestion I received was to have some hand made items in the box that youcould exchange up to 3 items that were there for up to 3 you had made. However, each item you select should be from someone different. The idea wouldbe to have items in your scrapbooks that have been made by other members of thegroup. This would mean that anyone putting hand made items would need to puttheir name on the back of the items. Let me know what you think?

Yes I see what you mean about the shipping. Sounds neat kinda like our punchie swap which i loved. I have the sizzix numbers. I bought a lot of sizzix punched letters a while back so that I would have some on hand when I needed them. I bought a tackle box thing to put them in.

Also, it's not just the "type" of items, but the quality. Yes, you might replace some fibers, but if you take some nice EK Adornments fibers for example, don't throw in some yarn that looks like it came from Raggedy Ann's pigtails, kwim?

I was at the bottom of the list last time and I was pretty dissapointed. I didn't end up taking anything IIRC, but I did beef it up a bit with some name brand, good quality stuff.

I hope the next round goes well.

You're right Ronni. Just the punched letters. I've hosted a couple of alphabet swaps and had some I couldn't use. I was glad to see that someone else had put a couple of sets in the scrapbox so that I was able to trade mine. I asked for two consonants and three y's & vowells w/ each set when I hosted. Alph swaps have been one my faves.
