Shopping and sorting...

We went to Costco yesterday and I was looking for the paper punch sets and stamp sets but I couldn't find them at that store (waaah!) However it's not all bad news... while I was looking we found their packs of bulk cardstock and DH bought me one (woohoo!) I'm not sure how I'll use the flourescent sheets but I'll find a way... and I bought a set of the cropper hopper vertical storage files for thirteen bucks. I put the cardstock I already had into the hopper and put the 300-sheet bulk set into the old box... I have a bunch of paper in homemade vertical storage boxes (cardboard boxes covered in pretty paper) and if I like the cropper hopper I might get more and turf them.

Of course buying new stuff meant I had to do more organising... today Albertsons had plastic food taker containers on sale so I got two of the large packs and I put my ribbons and lace into them sorted by colour... I'll have to see how well it works out in the long run, but it sure LOOKS a lot better than having it all jumbled in a plastic drawer! I had some of my ribbons on cards so I took them off and wound the rest of my fluffy fibers onto the cards instead - if they're loose they just get tangled and knotted!

Only one problem with all the sorting and tidying - every time I get one little bit of my collection and craftroom sorted out nicely it reveals another even bigger mess behind it or under it or some place else altogether! I STILL can't see my desk for papers... I guess I've really got TOO MUCH STUFF!

I was thinking the SAME thing Barb!!!!! LOL I always want more STUFF! hehehee More, More, give me MORE! ...........*but only if its on SALE.........:-)

Yep, shopping does tend to mean you have to do more organizing. But think of all the LO's and things you can do now!
