SOS! Help me fix this LO please!

I was inspired to do some scrapping, and since I don't have any new photos to work with I pulled apart an old LO in my album that I hated... I started cutting and arranging and now I'm afraid I've totally ruined it! One big photo bit the dust entirely because I tried to get fancy and failed, hence the two itty bitty hearts by the title. Please help me fix this! (this is the first LO I've worked on since our wedding album, and I'd hate to think that I wrecked it :(

The facing page is also in the album, but I've always been happy with how that one looks...

First off I have to say it's very cute and alone I don't see a thing wrong with it. BUT if you want a suggestion... maybe it paired with the facing page is what bothers you. The facing page is very lovely, but the style seems different from the one you want to "fix." Maybe make the styles match a little better. The facing page is structured while the fix page is free flowing. So, my 2 cents would be to turn the photos and the title so they are straight like the facing page. Making the 2 styles match better. Other than that I think they are both very nice.

Thanks Lynne... Silver jumped up on the desk and 'rearranged' the page for me, and then my husband came home and said he liked it... so I'm going to leave it as-is. I just added a few cut out flowers from the brown paper to tie them together a bit more. Wish me luck when it comes to glueing the white lacy paper!

Karen, What I see when looking at both pages is that there seems to be two styles. Maybe if you would use the same color page background as your second one and use some more pictures of orchids with the lovely pix you already have,it would make the LOs flow more together. I really like the pix of you and DH .Such a loving look you have for each other.

I would have except that I made the original pages in Australia and I didn't have any more of the cardstock, or any more photos! I wanted to put it on the purple cardstock but I only had black...
